Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a great choice when you're looking for a French door fridge that doesn't break the budget. It's a minimalist design that isn't as visually striking as some of the competition however it comes with enough features that make it a great choice. Its main feature is the temperature adjustable drawer which helps keep food items like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a large ice maker and a water dispenser. Another feature that is worth mentioning is the “Chill Drawer” that sits over the two crisper bins. This drawer lets you use some of the refrigerator's cooling power into this area so that you can store foods that require special attention. You can adjust this feature using a slider that's located right outside of the drawer. You can also use this feature to adjust the general cooling settings for the entire fridge, though I've found that adjusting the generic settings tends to produce better results than specific ones. In my tests, the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly constant across the different areas of the fridge. Temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge did not vary much from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within one degree of 36. This is a solid performance, but doesn't quite make it to the top of our ratings. This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead.
